Linux Mint 15 Mate terminal background

when enabling terminal to become transparent
Terminal-Edit-Profile Preferences-Background-Transparency
terminal shows desktop wallpaper instead of the windows below

->Needs to enable composting
Menu-Preferences-Desktop Settings-Windows-check 'Use composting'
